1. LA GEAR FIRE '89 Hightops

I have always wondered why LA Gears were discontinued. I have also wondered why they continued the reproduction of these sneakers without the light-up feature. Apparently there is a store in LA called "Sportie LA" that sells a line of these "FIRE 1989" LA Gears that light-up...ok i lied. But they are still fly. And for the record, if there was a way to start an LA Light Gears franchise in the District, I would do it in a heartbeat. (http://www.sportiela.com/index.html)
